(Marriage - 28 Mar 1920) Miss Anna Kroeplin
and Mr. Harvey Barts were married on Sunday afternoon March 28,
1920, at one o’clock at St. John’s Evangelical Church
in this city (Colby, Wis.) by Rev Peper. The bride wore a
gown of satin and georgette with veil and carried a shower bouquet
of pink carnations and sweet peas. The bridesmaids were also
tastily gowned, Miss Kroeplin being dressed in pink china silk and
Miss Podevils in white satin. Each carried a beautiful bouquet of
white carnations. The groom and groomsmen all wore suits of dark
blue serge. After the ceremony
the bridal party went to the Lukowicz studio, where wedding
pictures were taken. A fine wedding supper was served at the home
of the bride’s parents to relatives and friends. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kroeplin and the groom is the eldest
son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barts. They are two of the town of Hull,
Marathon County’s most popular young folks, and have a host
of friends who join with us in extending congratulations and best
wishes. The young couple
left Monday morning on a honeymoon trip to Sheboygan, Milwaukee,
Sherwood, and other places in that section of the state. After
April 15 they will be at home to their friends on the farm of the
bride’s parents in the town of Hull. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
