(Marriage - 9 Feb 1921) A very pretty
wedding was solemnized on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Dempsey, this city (Owen, Clark
County, Wis.), when Mr. William Steinback and Miss Alta Rose of the
town of Hoard, Clark County, were united in marriage, Rev. E. C.
Clark of the First Congregational Church reading the double ring
ceremony. The couple was
attended by Mr. Henry Anderson and Miss Annie Rose, a sister of the
bride, and the ceremony was witnessed by a great number of friends
of both bride and groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.
W. Rose, residing on farm northeast of the city. After the ceremony
the wedding couple and guests went to the Clifton Restaurant where
a bountiful wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Steinback left
today for Colby, Wis. where, they will visit with relatives and
then be at home in this city on 4th Street. Their many friends
extend them their best wishes for a happy wedded life. (Owen
