(Marriage - 20 Sep 1921) Herman F.
Strathman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Strathman of this city (Colby,
Wis.), and Miss Agnes Hengle of Rollingstone, Minn., were united in
marriage at the Zion Lutheran Church, in Colby, last Tuesday
afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. Kirchhoefer officiating. The bride was
attired in a suit of brown with hat to match and carried a bouquet
of bridal roses. The couple was attended by Robert Strathman,
brother of the groom, and Miss Doris Maahs, of Appleton. Miss Maahs
wore a pretty georgette gown of honeydew shade. The flower girl,
little Grace Fleishchauer, wore a stunning gown of pink crepe de
chine and carried a large bouquet of white and pink asters. The
wedding march was played by Miss Louisa List. At 6 o’clock
p.m., a bountiful supper was served at the home of the
groom’s parents to the invited guests. The couple left the
next morning by auto for an extended visit at Rollingstone and
other places in Minnesota. After the trip the young couple will
make their home in Marshfield, where the groom is employed in the
Wright Bakery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
