(Marriage - 14 Sep 1921) A pretty wedding
took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gosse of the town of
Colby, Clark County, Wis., on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 14, 1921,
when their daughter, Esther, was united in marriage to Mr. Fred
Olsen. The ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace, Frank
Firnstahl, under a beautiful arch made of cedar boughs and flowers.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Knuth of this
city. A bountiful
wedding supper was served to about a hundred guests at 5:30, after
which those present took part at cards and dancing. When the
midnight supper was served the newlyweds were presented with some
very beautiful and useful presents, including silverware, cut glass
articles and linens. The out of town
guests were Mrs. Shork, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wardel of
Chili, Wis, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Zuelka, Athens, Mrs. Hase and son,
Junction City, Mrs. Herman Schulke and Mrs. Edward Herman,
