Phonograph (Colby, Wis.) 09/22/1921 Riemer, Nina
(Marriage - 17 Sep 1921) A pretty wedding
took place at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church at Hamburg on
Saturday, Sept. 17, 1921, when Miss Nina Riemer, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Riemer of Athens, Wis., was united in marriage to
Mr. Walter Loos, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Loos of the town of Colby,
Clark County, Wis. They were attended by Miss Esther Riemer, sister
of the bride, Miss Irma Loos, sister of the groom, and Mr. Ervin
Riemer, brother of the bride, and Mr. Edwin Voelker, the
groom’s cousin. The bride was
attired in a beautiful gown of georgette crepe and bridal veil and
carried a bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums and sweet peas. The
bridesmaids wore gowns of golden corn color organdie. At 6 o’clock
a bounteous supper was served to relatives and friends of the
contracting parties at the home of the bride’s parents. In
the evening a dance was given at the Athens opera house in honor of
the young couple, which was largely attended. The couple left
from Colby yesterday for Milwaukee and other points in the southern
part of the state where they will spend a week or so with
relatives. This paper joins
with their many friends in extending congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
