Snitker, Florence (Marriage - 8 Sep 1921)

A wedding uniting Miss Florence Snitker and Mr. John Baumgartner was happily celebrated at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Snitker of Ludlow, on Thursday last, Sept. 8, 1921. The ceremony took place at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Steubbe officiating, the attendants being Miss Ida Becker and Mr. Albert Winke. Later a party of guests numbering about 250 assembled at the Snitker home and joined in the festivities, during which the young couple was showered with hearty congratulations and well wishes.

The bride is a charming young lady and enjoys the high esteem of her acquaintances. Mr. Baumgartner, whose home is in Wisconsin, has proven a meritorious young man during his employment in Ludlow the past three years. He has taken his bride to Colby, Wis., where they will reside on a farm. (Waukon, Iowa Democrat)
