(Marriage - 28 OCT 1921) A pretty wedding
was solemnized in this city (Colby, Wis.), when at 4 o’clock
last Saturday afternoon, Miss Violet Irma Wescott became the bride
of Walter Edmund Maier, both widely known and universally admired
young people. The marriage was at the home of the bride’s
mother, Mrs. Fred Hutton. A very fine six o’clock dinner was
served to a considerable wedding party, after which there were the
usual unusual public excercises, mostly noise. After a week of
visiting in various places in the state these young people with be
