On Saturday, October 8, 1977, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gaddis will be celebrating
their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The Gaddis’ live on a farm five miles west of
Withee, where they have farmed since they moved to the area in 1959.
They were married on October 8, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa. They later farmed in
Northwester Iowa before moving to the Withee area. Mrs. Gaddis is presently
employed at the Clark County Health Care Center.
Their son, Arthur Gaddis has a farm south of Withee on Highway 73, and has a
herd of registered Ayrshire cattle. Larry Gaddis, another son, works on his
folks’ 450 acre dairy farm.
