JUN 1852 - 31 Jan 1923) Mrs. Sarah Dean
Demand, Frankfort Township, Marathon Co., Wis., passed to the great
beyond last Thursday, Jan. 31, 1923, at 7 o’clock at the age
of 71 years, 7 months and 18 days. Funeral services were held at
the Methodist Church, Rev. Lucas officiating, Sunday, Feb. 3rd, and
interment was made in the Colby Cemetery. The deceased was
born in Wisconsin June 13, 1852 and came to this locality two years
ago. She was married to Adam Demand at Sheboygan Falls Jan. 17,
1875, to which union four children were born, all of who are still
living. Her departure is
mourned by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Fricke, Colby, Wis., Mrs. Jesse
Parkhill, Spokane, Wash., two sons, Hary Demand, Abbotsford, and
Leo W. Demand, Akron, Ohio, one sister, Mrs. Helen Kolk, Sheboygan
Falls, Wis., and four brothers, Maurice P. Dean, Sheboygan Falls,
Wis., Dighton Dean, Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and A. T. Dean, Duluth,
Minn. Those from out of
town who were here for the funeral were: Mr. A. T. Dean, Duluth,
Mr. M. P. Dean, Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Helen Kolk, Sheboygan
