ABBOTSFORD TRIBUNE (Abbotsford, Wis.) 06/26/1924 Gloff, Amelia (30
APR 1860 - 15 JUN 1924) Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Holden were called to Sheboygan Falls a week ago Sunday by
the sudden illness of her mother, Mrs. Amelia Gloff. They arrived
at the home of Mrs. Holden’s sister, Mrs. Robert Scheuneman,
early Monday morning, but too late. The Angel of Death had visited
the sick room at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Amelia Gloff, aged 64
years, died on Sunday afternoon, June 15, 1924, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Robert Scheuneman in the town of Sheboygan Falls.
Death was due to a paralytic stroke, which she suffered the day
before. She was born in
Manitowoc Co., April 30, 1860, but had spent the greater part of
her life in Sheboygan Falls. The past six years she had made her
home with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Holden, one mile east of
Abbotsford, Wis. She leaves to
mourn her loss one son, Jesse Gloff of Menominee, Mich., and two
daughters, Mrs. Robert Scheuneman of Sheboygan Falls and Mrs.
Harold Holden of this village; also three brothers and two
sisters. The funeral was
held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Sheboygan Falls
Baptist Church, Rev C. D. Mayhew officiating. The pallbearers were
six nephews and interment was made in the Sheboygan Falls
Cemetery. Abbotsford friends
extend heartfelt sympathy. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
