DEC 1895 - 20 JUN 1924) Mrs. Anna Peterson
was born at Ashland, Wis., Dec. 23, 1895 and died at the home of
her parents June 20, 1924 at the age of 28 years, 5 months and 28
days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Alvin Peterson April 19,
1921. Those she leaves
to mourn are her husband, Alvin Peterson, her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Mateofsky, her sisters, Mrs. Joseph Schefsick and Mrs. Fred
Toelle, and brother John Mateofsky. Relatives who
attended the funeral from out of town were: Mr. R. L. Peterson, Mr.
and Mrs. E. Zering of Wis. Rapids; Mrs. F. Rank and Mrs. Vocelka
from Medford; Mrs. Keinofer and family of Rib Lake; Mr. Louis
Mateofsky, Mr. J. Mack, Mr. and Mrs. Zerhn, and Mrs. Schocer, all
of Ashland. She was ill about
seven weeks and was a patient at St. Mary’s Hospital for over
a week before her death. He wish was to be with her parents the
last few days, which was granted, and she closed her eyes to them
on the second night with them. Funeral services
were held from St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford,
Wis. on Monday June 23rd, at 10 o’clock. The remains were put
