ABBOTSFORD TRIBUNE (Abbotsford, Wis.) 10/02/1924 Lindberg, Anna M.
(9 Jan 1859 - 26 Sep 1924) Silently and
peacefully the Angel of Death came into our midst Friday noon,
Sept. 26, 1924 and took unto its own the spirit of our departed.
Suddenly, but not unexpected, the blow fell. Children, Nephew and
friends bow in silent tribute to her, who so gallantly piloted her
frail bark over life’s stormy seas, with God’s hand
gently guiding into that haven of rest on eternity’s shore.
In revivified respect we stand at her bier and say again the
age-old words, " A Life Truly Sacrifced for Loved Ones, A Life Not
Lived In Vain." There is comfort in our turmoil of feelings, the
thought, "We Shall Be With Her Again." Anna Margaret
Swanson was born near Stenstorp, Sweden, Jan. 9, 1859 and came to
Abbotsford, Wis. 42 years ago, where she was married to William J.
Lindberg the same summer, and who preceded her in death 28 years
ago. The first two years were spent living in town, then settling
out on the farm, her home for forty years. She leaves to mourn her
loss two sisters, Josephine, who made her home with her; Albertina
in Sweden; and five children, John, Otto Albin and Celia of
Abbotsford and Cary of Los Angeles, Cal. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
