MAY 1886 - 18 NOV 1924) Matt Kramer, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kramer of this city (Abbotsford, Wis.),
passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday
evening of last week, at 6:30 o’clock. Matt Kramer was born
on his parent’s farm on the 3rd day of May 1886, at
Abbotsford, being 38 years, 6 months and 15 days at the time of his
death. He moved to Fond du Lac with his parents in 1904. In 1908 he
came to Abbotsford, where his parents were then residing. On Feb.
4, 1912 he was married to Miss Eda LaClaire of Dorchester, after
which they moved on to a farm near Colby, where they lived 5 years.
From there they moved to Abbotsford, starting a livery barn. Three years ago he traded the barn for a farm near Spirit Lake. From that
place he moved his family to Westboro, as he was employed near
there in a logging camp. He leaves to mourn, a wife and 4 children,
his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, John of Fond du Lac, Wis.,
Anton of Crookston, Minn., Frank of Glendive, Mont., Jake, Mrs.
Walter Weste of Medford, Wis., and Mrs. Iver Johnson of Abbotsford,
Wis. The community
