Mrs. M. W. Parker left on last Monday for DeSoto, Vernon county, to visit with relatives, to be gone several weeks.
Miss Mamie McFayden, with her little nephew, Master Willie Cole, went to Elroy Tuesday, to return on Friday.
Mrs. L. Hall, of Pine Valley, with Mrs. Foot made a call yesterday and added another to the readers of the Republican and Press.
Mrs. Tina Galt, of Black River Falls, whom we used to know in her baby and girlhood days as Tina Mason, was in the city visiting relatives last week.
Miss Elva Wilcox, of Waudena, Minn., who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Wilcox, of this city, for several weeks, returned last Tuesday. Miss Wilcox possesses many rare traits of character. Her pleasant happy nature draws around her many friends. The large circle of her young associates in this city will long remember her pleasant visit and with her will go their best wishes.
