Our city library is receiving quite an addition this season to the 2000 volumes, there being some $300 in the city treasure’s hands subject to the order of the board of library directors. The institution is a source of pride to our people, and is patronized to a very large extent by all our reading people.
We would remind our readers of the meeting to-morrow, P. M., of the farmers, called by John Hein, to consider the practibility of establishing a cheese factory at this place. It is a laudable enterprise and should be encouraged.
The successful managers of the skating rink, ever alive to the amusement of their patrons, will give a Mother Hubbard dress skate on next Saturday evening.
Orin Wilson, of the Town of Mentor, called on business on Wednesday. He is attending court as a juror.
