Charles Cornelius had a smiling countenance while driving what the blue ribbon said was the handsomest carriage team at the fair.
W. H. Hanes. of the town of Levis, on last Saturday morning presented himself, donned with a blue ribbon, to Emery Bruley and demanded the special premium, a pair of pants, offered by Mr. Bruley to the homeliest man in Clark county. It is said the the judge of the fair made an impartial decision, and that Mr. Hanes was truly entitled to the pants.
