Last Sunday night someone went to the barn of John Dwyer, in the town of York, and took one of his horses, which he seems to have ridden most of the night from its muddy and jaded appearance. Whoever it was forgot to return the bridle, which Mr. Dwyer still requests. He is willing to furnish a neighbor a horse to ride, but has no bridles to spare permanently.
A new German paper to be called the Deutche Zettung has been established at Medford by the proprietors of the Star and News. This is the second German paper for Medford, the other being the Waldbote, established last spring by Brucker, who has since become prominent in republican politics.
