Henry (29 Jul 1870 - 10 Apr 1925) Mrs. Henry
Martens, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, was
born July 29, 1870, in Germany and died April 10, 1925, of
lymphatic leukemia. The deceased came to this country when three
years old and to Colby, Wis. when six years old. Oct. 27, 1892, she
was married to Mr. Henry Martens at Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church, Dorchester,
April 14, 1925, and interment made in the Dorchester Cemetery. Besides her
husband, three children mourn her departure, namely: Mrs. Amanda
Gumz, Corinth, Mrs. Glodine Dombrove, Edgar, and Erurn at home. Mrs. Martens was
highly respected by all who knew her and had many friends who
