Packard, Julia L. (Nov 1842 - 23 Dec 1925)

Mrs. Julia Leslie Packard, aged eighty-three years and eleven months, died Wednesday morning at 2:50 o'clock, cause of death being old age. She had been failing in health since July, and since the middle of September had been confined to her bed. She came to Wisconsin in 1876, locating with her husband at Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. nearly fifty years ago. Later they moved onto a farm north of Curtiss, Clark County, where they resided until the death of her husband, after which she and her daughter, Miss Marion Gwinn, moved to Curtiss, where the balance of her life was spent.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church in Curtiss, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. W. P. Powell officiating. Interment took place at Pine Hill Cemetery, one mile north of the village of Curtiss.
