Engeldinger, the twenty-five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Engeldinger, died of convulsions, at the hospital at Stevens
Point, Sunday afternoon at 4:30, after a very short illness. The
deceased went to the Point Saturday night to visit her sister, Mrs.
Emil Pokallus, but, not feeling well Sunday morning, a doctor was
called, who rushed her to the hospital where she passed away of
convulsions. Funeral services were held this Thursday morning at
the Catholic Church, Rev. Lachnitt officiating, and interment in
the Colby Catholic Cemetery. Besides her parents, one brother, John
Engeldinger, and one sister, Mrs. Emil Pokallus, mourn her
departure. The sad news of
Miss Engeldinger's death cast a dark shadow over the whole
community for most of her short life was spent here. She graduated
from our Catholic School and from the Colby High School. When this
paper last came to you the deceased was upon our streets greeting
her fiends with a happy "Good morning." Today, all that was mortal
of this good girl ia at peaceful rest in our silent city. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
