11/12/1925 Colby Phonograph) Louisa Hoheisel,
DAUGHTER OF Albert Hoheisel of Germany, was married to Robert
Schmitt, son of Peter Schmitt, Nov. 3, 1925, at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church at Athens, Wis., Rev. A. E. Muehlenkamp reading the
marriage ceremony. Mrs. Mike Schedcik acted as bridesmaid and the
groom was attended by Mr. Mike Schedcik. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of dark blue silk, trimmed with golden lace, with
hat to match and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums. A wedding
reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Schedcik,
Athens, which was nicely decorated in pink and white for the
occasion. The evening was spent by dancing, music being furnished
by Joe Weins, violin; Joe Schedcik, harp; and Albert Gierl, bone
rattlers. All reported a good time. Thursday evening,
at the groom's home, they were surprised by a large crowd of
neighbors. Skat, sheephead and pinochle were the chief diversions
of the evening, after which refreshments were served. The crowd
departed for their homes Friday morning. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
