Phonograph (Colby, Wis.) 11/19/1925 Hoffmann, Agnes
(Marriage - 11 NOV 1925) A very quiet
wedding took place at the Catholic Church, Nov. 11, 1925, Rev.
Lachnitt officiating, when Miss Agnes Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Hoffmann, was married to Nicholas Kearney of Oakley, Iowa.
Mrs. Lambert Schommer, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid,
and Tony Hoffmann was best man. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of cocoa silk flax crepe, draped with lace and
carried a bouquet of white and blush bridal roses and the
bridesmaid wore a dress of pencil blue satin faced crepe and
carried a bouquet of white and crimson carnations. A breakfast was
served at the home of the bride's parents to immediate relatives,
only after which the newly married couple left on a wedding trip to
St. Paul and Mason City, Iowa. They will be at home after Nov.
25th, at Faulkner, Iowa, on the groom's farm. The bride, a
daughter of one of our (Colby, Wis.) prominent farmers, has many
friends in this vicinity who wish the couple a long and happy
married life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
