The Rev. Ron Johnson, Webster, officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony September
24, 1977 at United Methodist Church in Withee which united Diane Marie Johnson,
Curtiss, and Timothy John Stock, Withee.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harris Johnson, Route 1, Curtiss, and Mr.
and Mrs. John Stock, Route 2, Withee.
Miss Ann Steiner and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Booher sang, and Mrs. Rochelle Schultz
played organ, and Miss Annette Booher played piano for the rite.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown ending in a
train, and a fingertip veil attached to a bridal headpiece. She carried a
bouquet of yellow roses and white flowers.
Miss Cathy Gosse, Owen, was maid of honor, and Miss Collette Jacobs and Miss
Cathy Hughes, both of Marshfield, and Miss Andrea Stock, Withee, were
bridesmaids. They wore dresses in a floral pattern of gold, brown and tan, and
each carried a yellow rose.
Best man was John Frankewicz, Withee, and groomsmen were Dan Parker and George
Muehlbauer, both of Owen, and Michael Krause of Milton. Steve Booher and Jeff
Stock seated guests.
A reception at the Owen Legion Hall followed.
The bride, a 1976 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, attended her first year
at the University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield Wood County. Her husband, a
1975 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, completed an auto body course of study
at Mid-State Technical Institute, Wisconsin Rapids. He is employed by Hurd’s
Millwork Co. in Medford.
They will reside on Route 1, Curtiss.
