YORK LISPINGS: Mr. S. D. Gibson and family are making a flying visit through Shawano county, interviewing relatives and friends.
Mr. John Steinfedlt very narrowly escaped being killed last week by a falling limb. He was chopping in company with one of his neighbors when the tree, a limb that had been broken off fell, striking a slanting blow on the side of his head, knocking him senseless. When he became conscious, the blood ran from his mouth and nose in a terrible manner. Dr. Smart was called and dressed the wounded scalp and face. The doctor pronounced the wound not dangerous. He is at present doing as well as could be expected.
