A sad accident occurred at Greenwood, on Thursday of last week. Richard Sullivan and David Shanks were shooting at a mark on at outhouse with revolvers, and after firing a round went into the house to load up again. While absent a nephew of Shanks went into the outhouse, and at the first shot received a bullet in the leg. Dr. Buland extracted the ball and the boy is getting along nicely. People cannot be too careful in using fire arms.
The new electric light engine which is to arrive the first of next month, will be placed in the front room of the water works building, and the three dynamos moved into the boiler room. The engine, which is an Improved Corliss of seventy-five horsepower, is said to be a beauty, and of sufficient capacity to run a large electric light plant than is now being used. We are told the change in engines will not interrupt the funning of the lights more than one night.
