Ira McIntire had a fit at the ball grounds yesterday, fell from his buggy and was severely injured.
The teachers from Clark Co., who will attend Normal Schools this fall are Mr. Fred Draper, of Loyal, and Miss Hattie Brintnell, of Unity, go to Oshkosh; Miss Jessie Smith, of Neillsville, to River Fallsand Miss Frankie Hungerford, of Nasonville, to Whitewater.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Butterfield’s little boy Bertie, in jumping from a plank in the barn, broke his leg between the knee and ankle. The little lad’s road to manhood is a rough one as he has seen a great deal of sickness.
Don. Demouth started Monday for Minnesota, to visit relatives, see the country and try a hand at harvesting.
Mrs. E. T. Pratt’s brother and sister have been visiting her and returned to their home in New York.
J. L. Barber has carpenters at work building a new house.
Ed. Harper starts for the woods up North this week.
