Carrie Lynn Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Gardner of Route 2, Box
123, Spencer Wisconsin, entered the United States Air Force Delayed Enlistment
Program on October 7, 1977, according to SSgt Ken G. Metzger, the Air Force
Recruiter in Eau Claire Wisconsin.
Airman Gardner selected the A-A1 area for job training, and will attend a six
week Basic Military Training Course at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas,
beginning on October 7, 1977. Sergeant Ken Metzger said the Air Force still has
immediate openings for qualified you women and men. His office is located at
1431 South Hastings Way, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
