Phonograph (Colby, Wis.) 06/16/1927 Loos, Milfred (23
NOV 1904 - 12 JUN 1927) Milfred Loos, son
of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Loos, passed away at the Marshfield Hospital
Sunday, June 12, 1927, melense sarcoma with secondary anemia being
the cause of his departure to the distant shore. Funeral services
will be held this Thursday afternoon at the Methodist Church, Rev.
Hanscom officiating, and interment made in the Colby Cemetery. The deceased was
but twenty-two years, 6 months and 19 days of age, and, although
ailing for some time, he had been sick only a short while.
Seemingly with us today, active in life's round of work and duty,
but gone tomorrow. Only a few years ago, he was married and leaves
two small children and his wife to mourn his death. He was born in
Colby, Wis. and here played as a child; here he went ot school and
graduated from our high school; here he grew to manhood; here most
of his busy life was spent and his faithful service tendered to the
world, although for the past two years he was employed in
Milwaukee. Besides his wife
and two children, his demise is also mourned by his parents, two
sisters and three brothers. He was of a
pleasing disposition and had a large circle of friends in Colby,
especially amon the young people, who extend sympathy to
mourners. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
