Hainzlsperger, Elizabeth (Marriage - 18 Jan 1927)

Miss Elizabeth Hainzlsperger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hainzlsperger of Colby, Wis., was married to Mr. Alvin Kern of Milwaukee, Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1927, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Milwaukee, Ref. Msgr. August R. Salick reading the ceremony. Miss Frances Sterzinger, niece of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. Delores Kern, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

The bride wore a beautiful dress of white flat crepe with fan black veil and wreath of buds. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a dress of deep salmon flat crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The flower girl wore a dress of blue flat crepe and carried a basket of carnations and sweet peas.

After the ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krieger, where a wedding reception was given, the home being nicely decorated in blue and white for the occasion.

A six o'clock wedding dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kern. The young couple will be at home at 1076 27 St., Milwaukee.

The groom is a veteran of the World War and is employed by the Harley Davidson Motor Co. For the past for years, the bride was employed by the Westinghouse Lamp Co. The bride is well and favorably known here and friends extend congratulations.
