Stock, Herta (Marriage - 9 Jul 1927)

Miss Herta Stock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Stock, and Mr. Henry Reeves, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reeves, Sr., were quietly married at Chicago Saturday afternoon, July 9, 1927, at 4:00 o'clock, Rev. Prakopy performing the ceremony.

The bride wore a parchment georgette dress and carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and baby's breath and was attended by Mrs. Elmer Schultz, who wore nile green taffeta and carried roses and sweet pears. The groom who was attended by Elmer Schultz of Lannon, Wis., cousin of the bride.

A 7:00 o'clock wedding dinner was served to the bridal party at Hotel Norwood in Engelwood.

The young couple are spending their honeymoon at Lake James at Tomahawk and will be at home in Colby, Wis. about July 20th.

Both the bride and groom are well and favorably known in Colby and vicinity and have a host of friends who wish them a long and happy wedded life.
