(Marriage - 29 OCT 1927) A very pretty
wedding took place last Saturday, Oct. 29, 1927, at 12:30 o'clock,
at Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. Kirchhoefer officiating, when Miss
Clara Tesmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tessmer of Colby,
Wis., became the bride of Mr. Harry Wescott, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Harvey Wescott of Stratford. Irma Lueloff, niece of the bride,
acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by his brother,
Glenn Wescott of Phillips, Wis. The bride was
attired in a beautiful dress of rose beige satin crepe with hat to
match and the bridesmaid wore a dress of navy blue georgette with
hat to match. Immediately after
the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the Niehoff
Hotel, where a wedding dinner was served, after which the newlyweds
left on a wedding trip to points in northern Wisconsin. They will
be at home after Nov. 5th, at Wausau, where the groom is
employed. The bride is a
former Colby girl, but has been employed at Wausau the past few
years. She has a host of friends here, especially among the young
people, who wish her happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
