(Marriage - 17 NOV 1927) A very pretty
wedding was solemnized at the Green Grove Lutheran Parsonage last
Thursday, Nov. 17, 1927, when Miss Anna Fakes, daughter of Mrs.
Selma Fakes, became the bride of Adolph Erdman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gustave Erdman. Esther Erdman acted as bridesmaid and the groom was
attended by Arthur Fakes. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of canton blue, all silk flat crepe and carried a
bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid was
attire in a dress of queen blue silk charmeuse with a corsage
bouquet of lilies of the valley. Immediately after
the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of the
bride, where a wedding reception was given, the home being nicely
decorated with blue and white cut flowers and ferns for the
occasion. The newlyweds will
make their home at Polar, Wis., where the groom is employed. Both the bride and
