Schulz, Herman C. (28 Augl 1883 - 29 May 1928)

Herman Carl Schulz, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, was born Aug. 28, 1883, in the town of Colby, Clark County, Wis., and here is where he attended school and grew to manhood. He was married to Julia Pickritz at Knapp, Wis. May 11, 1921, and settled on his farm four miles west of Colby. In 1925 they moved to Elk Mound and from there Boyceville, where Mr. Schulz passed to the Great Beyond on May 29, 1928, from a stroke of paralysis, thus reaching the age of forty-four years, nine months and one day.

He was a man of excellent habits, kind and true, a hard worker, and was well liked by all who know him.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and two children, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. August Schulz, three brothers and two sisters: George Schulz, Mrs. Minnie Theilig, Ernst Schulz, Mrs. Anna Smart, Al Schulz, of Colby, and Gottlieb Schulz of Spencer. They were all at Boyceville before he died and attended the funeral, which was held Saturday, June 1nd, interment in the Tee Garden Cemetery.
