Schulz, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, was
born Aug. 28, 1883, in the town of Colby, Clark County, Wis., and
here is where he attended school and grew to manhood. He was
married to Julia Pickritz at Knapp, Wis. May 11, 1921, and settled
on his farm four miles west of Colby. In 1925 they moved to Elk
Mound and from there Boyceville, where Mr. Schulz passed to the
Great Beyond on May 29, 1928, from a stroke of paralysis, thus
reaching the age of forty-four years, nine months and one day. He was a man of
excellent habits, kind and true, a hard worker, and was well liked
by all who know him. He leaves to mourn
his departure, his wife and two children, his father and mother,
Mr. and Mrs. August Schulz, three brothers and two sisters: George
Schulz, Mrs. Minnie Theilig, Ernst Schulz, Mrs. Anna Smart, Al
Schulz, of Colby, and Gottlieb Schulz of Spencer. They were all at
Boyceville before he died and attended the funeral, which was held
