Schneider, Mary (9 SEP 1855 - 9 Jan 1929)

Funeral services for the late Mary Schneider, whose death was chronicled in the Phonograph last week, were held at the Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9:30, Rev. Lachnit officiating, and interment was made in the Colby or Colby Catholic Cemetery.

The deceased was born Sept. 9, 1855, at Brotherton, Wis., thus reaching the age of seventy-three years and four months. She was married to Theo. Schneider at Mt. Calvery, Wis., to which union six children were born, all of who are still living, namely: Mary Helmes, Iowa City, Iowa; Elizabeth Krauter of Steines, New Mexico; Anthony Schneider, Spokane, Wash.; Anna Schuhman, Abbotsford, Laura Gierl, Abbotsford; John Schneider, at home.

The deceased was one of the early pioneers of this section, coming here in 1881, and spent many useful years in this vicinity, but now her life is completed after a very beautiful Christian life.
