Beyerl, John (1917? - 2 Augl 1929)

John Beyerl, the twelve year old son of Frank Beyerl, died of peritonitis Friday, after an illness of one week. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church Monday morning, Rev. Lachnitt officiating, and burial took place in the Colby Catholic Cemetery.

The deceased was a very pleasant young fellow, and in spite of his age, was a great help to his father about the farm, being the oldest boy.

Those from out of town who were her for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kiefer, Jr., and Mrs. Peter Kiefer, Sr., Lomira; Mr. M. Rosbeck, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thiel, Marathon City; Mrs. Andrew Schmidtbauer and Mrs. Alphonse Schmidtbauer, LeRoy.
