OBITUARY Dora Schultz was born in Gadelbusch, Germany, on December 7, 1856. At the age of ten years she came with her parents to this country, the family settling in Waukesha county, Wis. where she grew to young womanhood. In the year 1880, she was united in marriage to Mr. Julius C. Hahn, and that same year they settled on a farm between Humbird and Fairchild. Two years later they moved into Fairchild and then to Humbird. With the exception of a short residence in Altoona and Merton, this village has been Mrs. Hahn's home, till the time of her death, after several weeks illness on Monday morning, June 22, 1936, at the advanced age of 79 years, 7 months and 14 days. To Mr. and Mrs. Hahn were born three children, the youngest William C., passing away on his mother's birthday, Dec. 7, 1912. Death came without warning to Mr. Hahn on September 25, 1925. Mrs. Hahn is survived by one son, Albert F. Hahn and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Simons, both residing in Humbird. Three grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Hahn was the last member of her family, the brothers and sisters all preceding her in death. Her passing is mourned by a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 24, at the Reformed church, and were attended by many neighbors and friends. The burial sermon was delivered by Rev. V. D. Weidler. Burial was in Mentor cemetery. Among relatives and friends from away attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Gruehlke and daughter Eleanor, Mrs. Alma Gruehlke, Mrs. Duesterhof and daughter, Violet, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Gruehlke, of Fairchild; Rudolph Theil, Mrs. Emma Theil, Augusta; Mrs. Amelia Feuerhelm, Mrs. Anna Schmidt, Mrs. Carrie Boehem and daughter Doris, Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Hoffman, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Faldscher, Mrs. Martha Smith, Madison; John Hahn, Burlington; Ed. Hahn, Henry Hahn, Eau Claire; Mrs. Augusta Heidtke, Mr. and Mrs. Ted. Heidtke, Eagleton, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Stanley, Mrs. Hugh Rusell, Altoona.
