Racine - Violetta C. Powers, 92, formerly of Eau Claire, died Tuesday in Westview Nursing Home, Racine. Violetta DuPont was born in Fairchild and lived in Eau Claire until moving to Racine in 1972. Survivors include a son, John A. Powers, Racine, a sister, Mabel Olson, Eau Claire, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Racine, with graveside services at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. Golden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
