FRANK SWENSON
Frank Swenson was born in the town of Cleveland in Jackson County on December 26, 1893 and passed away within the hour at Luther Hospital after being stricken with a heart attack while visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Luther Steen in Eau Claire. He was the son of John and Alma Swenson of the town of Cleveland and was the last surviving member of that family. He was united in marriage to Pauline Du Pont of Fairchild in 1924 in Duluth Minnesota who preceded him in death on April 25, 1959. On returning from Duluth soon after marriage he and his wife spent the balance of their life engaged in farming in this area. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Rosta of Lakewood, California and Mrs. Luther Steen of Eau Claire, five grandchildren and a host of friends who will greatly miss his passing. Funeral services were held September 23, 1959 in the Methodist church in Humbird with Rev. Jack Burt officiating and interment was made in Cleveland cemetery. Casket bearers were Rolland Hess, Elmer Hess, Edwin Holman, Arnold Holman, Raymond Steward and Robert Nigaard.
