Doehr, Mabel (1897 - 1982)
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, for Mabel Doehr, 84, of 314 State Street, Neillsville, Clark County, who died at her home at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 1982.
The Rev. Howard Ott, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated and burial was in the Town of Cleveland Cemetery near Fairchild.
Mabel Bequette was born on Dec. 5, 1897, in the Town of Cleveland in Jackson County and received her education there.
She was married at Fairchild on April 10, 1917, to Werner H. Doehr, and they lived at Marshfield, Iron Mountain, Mich. and Milwaukee.
In 1938, they moved to a farm near Chili, Clark County, which they operated until the death of her husband on Aug. 24, 1971. She resided in Marshfield for about two years, then moved to Neillsville.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lucien (Evelyn) Moh of Granton one son, Lyle Doehr of Spencer one brother, Archie Bequette of Fairchild seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband and her parents, Henry and Tilda (nee Miller) Bequette.
Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, handled arrangements.
