Robert Thur FAIRCHILD (Special) - Robert Thur, 82, Fairchild, former clerk of the Town of Cleveland for 37 years and a member of the school board here for several years, died at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Eda; two sons, Edwin Eau Claire and Harold, Fairchild; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Gerth, Fairchild; one brother, Albert, Fairchild; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from St. Paul's Lutheran church here. Rev Martin Sasman, Alma Center officiating. Burial will be in Fairchild cemetery. Friends May call at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta today and until 11 am Tuesday and from noon until time of the services at the church. Mr. Thur also serviced as assessor of the Town of Cleveland, Jackson County.
