ALBERT W. LAHN

Albert W. Lahn, 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan died at Community Hospital on April 20, 1941. Funeral services were held on April 26, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. Interment was in Newton Cemetery. Mr. Lahn had taken an early retirement in 1943 from Clark Equipment Company where he had been employed for 17 years and retired in 1956 from farming in Newton Township. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a World War I veteran, a member of the church men's club and Lutheran Laymen's League and a former treasurer and Sunday School superintendent. Surviving are his widow, the former Therea Oberneder; sons: William A. Lahn and Robert J. Lahn, both of Sacremento, California; daughters: Mrs. Raymond (Theresa) Norton of Sanora, California and Mrs. James (Clara) Mullen of Battle Creek: brothers: Carl and Emil Lahn of Fairchild, Wis., George Lahn of Albion, Michigan; sisters: Mrs. Arthur (Clara) Erdman of Augusta, Wis and Mrs. Wellington (Hilda) Barr of Colby, Wis, and 10 grandchildren.
