Phonograph (Colby, Wis.) 09/27/1928 Laack, Edna
(Marriage - 22 Sep 1928) A very interesting
weeding took place at Dorchester last Saturday, Sept. 22, 1928,
when Miss Edna Laack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Laack, was
married to Melvin J. Tennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tennis,
Rev. Paul Pitzenberger reading the marriage ceremony at the
parsonage. Miss Elizabeth Arschambo acted as bridesmaid and the
groom was attended by Arnold Laack. The bride wore a
very pretty dress of robin egg blue georgette, trimmed with gold
metal lace, with a wreath of silver satin with rhinestone. The
bridesmaid wore a frock of maroon lace satin crepe and a rhinestone
head band. A reception was
held at the home of the bride's parents and the young couple will
make their home in Unity, Wis., where the groom is employed as
bookkeeper at the Unity State Bank, which position he has had for
the past seven years. Tuesday evening, Sept. 25th, a free wedding
dance was given at Wiedenhoeft's park in Colby. The Phonograph
joins their many friends in extending best wishes and
congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
