DEC 1859 - 27 Feb 1912) Mr. Charles Baehr
passed away Tuesday Feb. 27, 1912, at the State Hospital at
Oshkosh, Wis., after an illness of brief duration. Charles Baehr was
born Dec. 2, 1859, in Germany, where his days of youth were
spent. March 14, 1887, he
was united to Miss Augusta Westphal. From this union two sons and
two daughters came to brighten their home. After their marriage
they moved to this vicinity, where they have since resided. Mr. Baehr was one
of Clark County, Wisconsin's oldest settlers, having come here and
settled when this part of the county was all dense forests, and has
stayed here to see and help make many improvements. He leaves to mourn
his departure a wife, two daughters, Emma and Mrs. Clara Zasoba of
this village, two sons, George and Harry, four brothers and one
sister. Funeral services
will be held this afternoon at 12 o'clock at the house and 2
o'clock from the church in this village, Rev. Schrein of Stanley
