Mr. Charles Baehr passed away Tuesday Feb. 27, 1912, at the State Hospital at Oshkosh, Wis., after an illness of brief duration.

Charles Baehr was born Dec. 2, 1859, in Germany, where his days of youth were spent.

March 14, 1887, he was united to Miss Augusta Westphal. From this union two sons and two daughters came to brighten their home. After their marriage they moved to this vicinity, where they have since resided.

Mr. Baehr was one of Clark County, Wisconsin's oldest settlers, having come here and settled when this part of the county was all dense forests, and has stayed here to see and help make many improvements.

He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, two daughters, Emma and Mrs. Clara Zasoba of this village, two sons, George and Harry, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 12 o'clock at the house and 2 o'clock from the church in this village, Rev. Schrein of Stanley officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
