Moses, Polly A. (1 DEC 1827 - 8 Jul 1916)

Mrs. Polly Ann Moses was born in New York State, Dec. 1, 1827, and died July 8, 1916, at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 7 days. At an early age she moved with her parents to Sandusky, Ohio, where she lived with her parents until 1843, when she came to Ellenboro, this state, where she resided until twelve years old.

She was united in marriage Oct. 23, 1855, to Alfred Moses. Nine children were born to them, five of which are still living: Lenard D. of Mitchell, S. D.; Flora M. Eisenbise of Owen, Clark County, Wis., Mrs. Elizabeth J. Leighty of Lancaster, Wis.; Budd D. of Baker City, Oregon, and Charles W. of Canada.

Twelve years ago Mrs. Moses came to Owen and has since made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Eisenbise.
