(13 Apr 1854 - 31 Mar 1917) Martin Schroeder
died at his home in the town of Longwood, Clark County, Wis., early
Saturday morning, March 31, 1917, cause of death being a relapse
from a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered some two years ago.
Mr. Schroeder came to the town of Longwood about thirty-four years
ago and settled on the farm which he owned at the time of his
death. He was sixty-three years of age and leaves to mourn a wife
and nine children, Mrs. H. Myers, Reseberg; Clara of Rochester,
Lottie of Madison and Mary of Reseberg; Frank and Fred of Idaho,
Adolph of Longwood, Ernest of Owen and Carl of Washington. Funeral services
were held from the German Lutheran Church at Greenwood, Clark
County on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Barron officiating, and the
body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery. Those from away
who came to attend the funeral were the six children, Frank Adolph,
Ernest, Clara, Lottie and Mary. The bereaved
family has the sympathy of the entire community in their time of
sorrow. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
