ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 12/01/1916 Anderson, Helen
(Marriage - 29 NOV 1916) The marriage of
Miss Helen Anderson of Rice Lake, Wis., and Mr. Claire J. Servaty
of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), was solemnized at the home
of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson at five
o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was performed by Rev.
Lacy of the Presbyterian Church of that city. The maid of honor was
Miss Bertha Peterson, a cousin of the bride, and the groomsman was
Mr. Henry Anderson, a brother of the bride. After the ceremony a
reception and supper was served at the home of the bride's parents.
The decorations were red and cream rose with smilax. The bride wore
a traveling suit of blue and the groom conventional black. After a
short wedding trip the young couple returned to this city to be the
guests of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Servaty, for a
few days. Miss Anderson was
one of Rice Lake's popular young ladies, having lived at that place
for many years, and has a host of friends there who wish her much
joy and happiness. The groom is the
oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Servaty, and has made this city
his home for th epast seven years, during which time he has gained
a large circle of friends. Although for the past year or more his
work has kept him out of the city, his many friends here will be
glad to learn of his marriage. At the present time he is employed
with the O. E. Gerber Contracting Co. of Chippewa Falls, at which
place they will make their home. The Enterprise joins with his
large number of friends here in wishing them a happy and prosperous
wedded life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
