(Marriage - 20 JUN 1917) A very pretty
wedding took place on Wednesday evening, June 20, 1917, at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Elliott. The contracting
parties were Mr. Arleigh J. Elliott and Miss Mabel Wilder of
Coloma. At seven o'clock
p.m., the bridal party took their places under the beautiful arch,
while the Rev. W. H. Sargent performed the ceremony. The bride was
smartly attire in a plum color taffeta silk dress. The bridegroom
wore a conventional black suit. The bridesmaid,
Miss Daisy Wilder, sister of the bride, wore a plum color taffeta
silk dress, and Mr. Frank Crye, who acted as best man, wore a black
suit. After the ceremony
the company sat down to a sumptuous wedding supper. Miss Blanch
Elliott and Miss Ruby Long acted as waiters. The other guests were
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Elliott, Dr. and Mrs. Williams, Mr. Neil
Sharey and Mr. Elmer Williams. There were many presents. Mr. and Mrs.
Elliott will take up their residence at once at Stevens Point,
