Sorenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Sorenson, was born April 25,
1887, on the home farm in the town of Longwood, Clark County, Wis.
His death occurred Sunday evening, April 14, 1918, at the age of 30
years, 11 months and 20 days. He graduated from
the Short Course in Agriculture at the State University at Madison
in March 1912. He continued his education at the Chicago Veterinary
College, from which he graduated April 11, 1916. Dr. Sorenson
practiced as Veterinarian during the summer of 1916 at Mayville,
N.D., but came back to Wisconsin and took up practice at Fond du
Lac, where he was until Sept. 1917, when he came home on account of
his heath. He was an
honorable and respected man, and was conscientious in the
profession he chose as his life work, as was shown by the beautiful
floral tribute sent by the Wis. Veterinary Medical Association. He
was well liked by all who knew him. The funeral
services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and the body
was laid to rest in the Longwood Cemetery, Rev. Kleppe of
Greenwood, Clark County officiating. Those from away
who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Erickson of
Larsen, Wis., Mrs. O. A. Anderson of Stevens Point, Mrs. Adolph
Hanson of Chicago, and dr. and Mrs. W. F. Kuester of Menominee. Dr. Sorenson
leaves to mourn his loss his parents, two brothers, Carl W. and
Henry Sorenson, and five sisters, Mrs. Louis Jackson, Mrs. Rudolph
Erickson, Mrs. Melvin Erickson, Jennie and Hilda Sorenson and also
