Horn, Esther A. (6 JUN 1917 - 1 Mar 1969)

Mrs. Harold Horn, Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., died Saturday morning at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, Clark County, following a lingering illness. She was 51 years of age.

Services will be conducted by the rev. David Logue, pastor at United Church of Christ in Greenwood, at 2 p.m., Wednesday. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitations May be made at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood from Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and then at the church.

The former Esther Anna Tesmer was born in the town of Colby, Clark County, June 6, 1917 and received her education in the Colby Schools. She was married at the Green Grove Lutheran Church in the town of Colby July 24, 1941, to Harold Horn, who survives her.

After their marriage the couple farmed 1 1/2 miles north of Greenwood until 8 years ago, when they moved to the city of Greenwood, where the operated a root beer stand.

Mrs. Horn was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Salem Aid Society.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, James, at home; a daughter, Miss Eunice Horn, Milwaukee; a brother, Ernest Tesmer, Colby, and three sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Loella) Fromme, Colby; Mrs. Carl (Leonora) Paschke, Winneconne, Wis., and Mrs. Lois Thieme, Marshfield.
