(Marriage - 15 Dec 1917) On Saturday
evening at eight o'clock at the home of the groom's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Fleischmann, occurred the marriage of Miss Elsie
Kaufmann of Withee, Clark County, Wis., and Mr. Joseph Fleischmann
Jr. of this city (Owen, Clark County) The ceremony was pronounced
by Rev. W. H. Sargent, pastor of the Congregational Church. Only a
brother of the bride and the immediate family of the groom were
present at the ceremony. Miss Kaufmann is a
young lady who has many friends in this city and at Withee, and who
join in wishing her a happy wedded life. Mr. Fleischmann is
the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fleischmann, and is in his four
year stay in this city has made many friends. He recently returned
home from Waco, Texas, where he has been in training with Uncle
Sam's large army, but due to rigid physical examination he was not
permitted to continue training. Mr. and Mrs.
Fleischmann have gone to housekeeping in the rooms in the Cichocki
building and will be at home to their friends there. Their friends
join with the Enterprise in wishing them a happy journey through
